Online Trauma & PTSD Therapy in Oregon & Idaho
What Happened To You Doesn't Have To Define What's Possible
Trauma changes the way your nervous system responds to the world. You don't have to keep managing it alone, or keep white-knuckling through days that feel heavier than they should. Online therapy gives you a practical, private space to process what happened and rebuild a life that feels like it's actually yours.
Scheduling is handled through Headway, our HIPAA-secure booking platform. You'll be able to see available times and book directly - no login required.
You Might Be Here Because...
• Something happened and you've never fully been able to leave it behind
• You startle easily, feel numb, or swing between both
• Certain places, sounds, or situations pull you back somewhere you don't want to go
• You've been told to 'move on' but your body hasn't gotten the message
• Sleep is hard. Trust is hard. Feeling safe is hard.
• You function well on the outside, but inside you're exhausted by what you're carrying
• You've thought about therapy but weren't sure it could actually help with this
These aren't signs of weakness. They're signs that your nervous system learned to protect you and that it's been working overtime ever since. Therapy isn't about re-living what happened. It's about helping you get unstuck from it.
This Isn't About Dredging Up the Past
A lot of people avoid therapy because they think it means spending years talking about what happened in painful detail. That's not how we work.
Our approach is focused on the present, on what trauma is costing you right now, and what you want your life to look like going forward. You'll learn to recognize when the past is running the show, and build real tools to step back from it without having to fight it or push it away.
The goal isn't to forget what happened. It's to stop letting it make every decision for you.
A Practical, Present-Focused Approach
Sessions are built around three things that actually move the needle
Notice Without Being Swept Away
Make Room Instead
of Fighting
Move Toward What Matters
Learn to recognize when trauma is running the show — and take back the wheel.
Stop spending energy on a battle you can't win. Make space for difficult feelings without letting them run your life.
Get clear on what you want — and build the ability to move toward it, even on hard days.
What Sessions Are Like
What You Can Expect:
• Collaborative, structured conversations
• Space to think clearly and without pressure
• Interventions that let you process in your own way
• Skills you can use immediately
First session: We'll spend most of the time understanding what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you want to get out of therapy. You don't have to have it all figured out before you come in.
Ongoing sessions: 50-55 minutes, once a week or every other week depending on what fits your life. We'll move at a pace that feels steady - not rushed, not stalled.
Who You'll Be Working With
Bradley Raburn, MA LPC, MBA
I'm Bradley Raburn, a licensed professional counselor working with adults in Oregon and Idaho via telehealth. I specialize in helping people who've been carrying trauma for a long time and are ready to stop "just surviving it."
My approach isn't about rehashing every detail of what happened. It's about understanding how your past is showing up in your present and giving you real tools to process and respond differently. Most clients tell me the work feels less like therapy and more like finally getting traction.
If you've been on the fence about whether therapy can actually help with what you've been through, let's meet and discuss your goals.

What Clients Have Said
“
“
I was holding it together at work, but at home I was a different person — jumpy, closed off, exhausted for no reason I could name. I didn't think therapy would be able to touch it. Four months in, I sleep better, I'm present with my family, and I actually know what to do when it starts to creep back in."
I'd tried to talk about what happened before and it just made things worse. This was different. We didn't dig into the details — we worked on what was happening right now and what I wanted. I started feeling like I had options again, which I hadn't felt in years.

The Hardest Part Is Usually
the First Step
Most people who reach out have been thinking about it for a while. They weren't sure if what they experienced was 'bad enough' to warrant therapy. They weren't sure it would work. They weren't sure they had the time.
You don't have to be sure. You just have to be ready to try something different.
